Organisations or authors and publishers of scientific texts which are affiliated with Göttingen University have the option to publish their work on our document server GOEDOC.

Another option is to publish scientific texts relevant to the special collection subjects of the Göttingen State and University Library.

Publication options

We can offer tailor-made services for these types of requirement:

• the Göttingen University Press for first publications online and in print,
• dissertations and final year projects,
• the document server GoeScholar for peer-reviewed parallel publications,
• the document server GOEDOC for other university and non-university publications.
• Additionally, we have entered into publishing agreements with various academic publishing houses in order to facilitate Open Access publication for affiliates of Göttingen University.

Our objective is to make scientific texts available to the public with as few limitations as possible. Open access to electronic publications increases the breadth of visibility of these publications, and will in particular highlight the skills and abilities of Göttingen researchers on a global scale. Provisioning and search for publications occurs by way of the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK). Listings in supra-regional and specialist databases (e.g. Common Union Catalogue (GVK), WorldCat, BASE, OAIster) are ensured by way of periodic updates. Any publications listed in GoeScholar can also be found via Google Scholar.
