Access to licensed electronic resources (eJournals, databases, eBooks) of the Göttingen State and University Library is available for authorised users even from off-campus PCs. Authorised persons are defined as staff and students of Göttingen University.
The provider Beck allows off-campus access only for professors and research staff of Göttingen University.
When accessing the Database Infosystem (DBIS) or the Electronic Journals Library (EZB) via the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK) from PCs outside the IP address range of Göttingen University, a login page will be displayed.
Please enter the number of your student ID which you received upon immatriculation, or your library card number and password which you received upon registration with the Göttingen State and University Library in the relevant fields.
After successful login, the homepage of the required electronic resource will be displayed, and you will be able to access the required items in a full text version.
Please repeat the login process for each session to use the licensed electronic resources of the Göttingen State and University Library. After your successful login, you will be able to access any number of titles in full text versions. You will not be required to login again on the provider's website. An inactivity period of 15 minutes will trigger an automatic logout, and you will have to login again for further access to licensed electronic resources.
