Comprehensive search possibilities enable access to specialized academic information on history, language, literature, politics and culture of East, Central Eastand South East European countries and regions. The Virtual Library Eastern Europe is a project of the institutions Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, München; Herder-Institut, Marburg; LMU Historisches Seminar Abteilung für Geschichte Ost- und Südosteuropas, München; Institut für Ost- und Südosteuropaforschung (IOS), Regensburg and Göttingen State and University Library.
