You are entitled to a guest library card if you do not have a residence in Germany and / or your length of stay is less than 28 days.

Please fill in the registration form and submit it.
You may pick up your library card at the selected service desk, as a rule on the next day (Monday - Friday).

Please bring your national ID card or passport with you.

The operation of a library is not possible without the processing of personal data. I hereby consent to the processing of my user and usage data necessary for operational purposes (cf. User Regulations BenO § 5, available in German only for legal reasons) by the Göttingen State and University Library and the underlying basic services of the University of Göttingen. For inter-library loan purposes, part of user data (name, address and library card number) need to be imparted to other libraries and temporarily processed there. I hereby consent to the imparting and processing of my user data for inter-library loan purposes. I may revoke my consent at any time.
