Guided Tour of the Historical Building

During a guided tour of around one hour through the historic building of the SUB Göttingen, you will learn about the history of the library and its premises.

The tour includes a visit

• the Paulinerkirche,
• the Alfred Hessel Hall and
• the Heyne Hall.

We recommend these tours to anyone interested in cultural and scientific history. Please note that due to events taking place, it is not always possible to offer tours of all these rooms. If you have a particular interest in one of the rooms, we therefore ask you to contact us by telephone in advance.

Practical Information

• Duration: approx. 45 to 60 minutes
• Meeting point: Entrance area of the Historic Building, Papendiek 14, 37073 Göttingen
• Registration: maximum 20 people; booking is required. This tour is intended for individuals.
• Cloakroom: Please lock your bags and coats in the cloakroom lockers beforehand.
