Göttingen State and University Library charges for deliveries in Europe

  1. for the loan of one book:

    • 2 IFLA Voucher

  2. for the delivery of:

    • 1 – 20 copied pages: 1 IFLA Voucher
    • 21 – 30 copied pages: 1 und 1/2 IFLA Voucher
    • 31 – 40 copied pages: 2 IFLA Voucher
    • 41+ copied pages: 2 und 1/2 IFLA Voucher

Göttingen State and University Library charges for deliveries outside Europe

  1. for the loan of one book:

    • 4 IFLA Voucher

  2. for the delivery of:

    • 1 – 20 copied pages: 2 IFLA Voucher
    • 21 – 30 copied pages: 2 und 1/2 IFLA Voucher
    • 31 – 40 copied pages: 3 IFLA Voucher
    • 41+ copied pages: 3 und1/2 IFLA Voucher

Deliveries by fax accrue an additional fee of 1/2 IFLA Voucher, or EUR 4.00.

We prefer IFLA Voucher payments, as they represent the easiest method of handling inter-library loan fees.

If you prefer not to pay copy deliveries with IFLA Vouchers, and would like an invoice instead, you can find the relevant cost breakdown in our Price List.

Document Delivery Service subito

As an alternative to the international inter-library loan service, you can also use the fee-based document delivery service subito for media orders. The service is available for private and commercial users, as well as for libraries outside of Germany.

With subito, delivering libraries have committed to processing orders within 72 hours for the "Standard Service", and within 24 hours for the "Express Service". The prices for these service levels can be found here.

Your order will be forwarded via subito to the Göttingen State and University Library. The ordered material will be delivered directly from the Göttingen State and University Library to the postal address or email address you have provided during your registration. You will receive your invoice separately from subito.

OCLC WorldShare ILL

Göttingen State and University Library is part of the worldwide inter-library loan association OCLC WorldShare ILL, and the invoicing scheme ILL Fee Management (IFM).

OCLC WorldShare ILL allows you to request inter-library loan material from over 10,000 libraries around the world. OCLC WorldShare ILL accesses the worldwide largest catalogue database WorldCat, in which over 150 million catalogue entries and over 2 billion ownership details from libraries are listed.

Göttingen State and University Library prefers the use of OCLC WorldShare ILL for international orders, specifically for orders originating in North America.
