Archiving Personal Papers

SUB Göttingen welcomes personal papers, private archives, and scholarly collections, primarily from individuals who have worked at the University of Göttingen or who have a close connection to the University and its academic culture. Collections may also originate from institutions. If such materials are transferred to the library during the creator’s lifetime, they are referred to as a ‘Vorlass’.

Please note that the library generally does not accept deposits (permanent loans). Private libraries or extensive collections of offprints are not acquired.
