We will take you on a tour of the three floors beneath the Central Library, show you the main distribution room, demonstrate our shelving systems, and explain the book conveyor system. We will also show you what other types of media besides books are stored in our archives: from microfiche to vinyl records.

The tours are free of charge, but registration is required due to limited capacity. The tours take place once a quarter, with the next one scheduled for January 27, 2026.

The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and meets at 4:30 p.m. in the foyer of the Central Library. Please lock your backpacks and jackets in the lockers in the basement before the tour.
