DOA-GoJIL - Project details (DOA-GoJIL)
As part of the project, the 'Goettingen Journal of International Law (GoJIL)! will be transferred to the OJS infrastructure of the SUB Göttingen. The 'Open Journal Systems software (GoJIL)' supports the creation and publication of journals in Diamond Open Access. The software offers functionalities that enable all work steps from the submission of articles to the final publication and presentation on a website.
Switching to OJS enables the journal to operate sustainably and makes work easier for the editorial team thanks to a professional and specialized publication environment. For this purpose, the metadata and PDFs of existing content (backlist) will be migrated to OJS. The SUB Göttingen team can draw on experience with other journals. In the internal area of GoJIL-OJS, the workflows will be adapted and editors, reviewers and authors must be trained or information material and guidelines created.
The procedure will be documented to make it easier for other journals to flip.
