The SUB Göttingen has signed a framework agreement with the publisher Bristol University Press, which provides the following support to members of the University of Göttingen and the University Medical Center Göttingen for Open Access publishing.

Hybrid Open Access

‘Corresponding authors’ are given the opportunity to publish their articles Open Access in the publisher's hybrid journals via the ‘Read and Publish Agreement’. The costs are covered centrally via contract participation.

This publishing agreement applies to all articles (‘original research articles’) that are submitted in 2025 or 2026. After the article has been accepted accepted, authors must contact Bristol University Press to take up the open access option. This email should include information about the submitted article and information that you are publishing under the ‘Read and Publish Agreement’ of the University of Göttingen. The publications will receive a CC BY license.
