Company of Biologists

SUB Göttingen has entered into an agreement with the Company of Biologists (CoP) that offers members of the University of Göttingen and Göttingen University Medical Center the following support for open access publishing.

Time period: 2026

Gold & Hybrid Open Access

• Publish & Read agreement covering open access fees (APC) through central funding.
• The agreement covers the following journals: 
  • Biology Open
  • Development
  • Disease Models & Mechanism
  • Journal of Cell Science
  • Journal of Experimental Biology

• Eligible article types: all research articles (Research Article, Research Report, Techniques and Resources Article, Techniques and Resources Report, Short Report, Tools and Resources, Methods & Techniques, Short Communication, Theory & Modelling, Resources & Methods)
• Person identification via the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC)
