Microbiology Society

The SUB Göttingen participates in a framework agreement between the ‘Deutsche Zentralbibliothek Medizin’ (ZB MED) and the Microbiolgy Society. This agreement offers the following support to members of the University of Göttingen and the University Medical Center Göttingen.

Gold Open Access

‘Corresponding authors’ of the University of Göttingen (incl. UMG) can publish in the following journals and on the research platform in Open Access for an unlimited period:

Access Microbiology is a research platform that enables the publication of replication studies, negative or invalid results, research proposals, data management plans, additions to established methods and interdisciplinary work.

Hybrid Open Access

In the following subscription-based (hybrid) journals ‘Corresponding Authors’ of the University of Göttingen (incl. UMG) can publish unlimited Open Access.

Neither Gold Open Access nor Hybrid Open Access authors are invoiced. The costs are covered centrally by the contract participation.
