If a book you are looking for is not available in Göttingen, you can request it via inter-library loan or submit a purchase suggestion. Students who require a textbook for a course assignment also have the option to use the book acquisition programme for Göttingen University students.

Printed and electronic editions of subject-relevant journals can be found in the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK) and in GöDiscovery. The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) provides a subject-based overview and uses a traffic light system to indicate availability and access levels. Titles licensed for the campus can also be accessed off-campus via eduVPN or Shibboleth.
Relevant print journals are freely accessible in the Cultural Studies Divisional Library (BBK) on the 3rd floor of Wing A. Additional titles and older volumes can be requested from the stacks.
