Wi-fi internet access in the Göttingen State and University Library is available via GoeMobile and eduroam.
All students at Göttingen University receive a free account upon matriculation to obtain wi-fi internet access. Göttingen University staff can apply for a user account via the Gesellschaft für Wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung mbH Göttingen (GWDG).
StudIT - IT service for students offers students at Göttingen University a number of PCs with internet access and extensive software options on the ground floor of the Central Library of the Göttingen State and University Library and in its divisional libraries. In addition, in partnership with the Göttingen State and University Library and the GWDG, StudIT offers a broad spectrum of IT services at the Learning Resources Center (LRC) in the Central Library, and at the Medical Library.
In the Central Information area of the Central Library, six PCs with account-free internet access are provided during opening hours. You also have the option to print out your search results here. You will need a copy pass from the Göttingen State and University Library, which you can purchase at one of the copy card automats or at the Cashier's Desk.
At the Historical Building of the Göttingen State and University Library, two PCs with internet access are available in the Reading Room "Old Prints" and in the Reading Room "Manuscripts & Rare Prints" during opening hours.
