Information at our service desks
You can of course obtain information and answers to your service enquiries at the service desks in the Central Library, the Historical Building and the Forestry, Physics, Cultural Studies and Economics & Social Sciences Divisional Libraries as well as in the Medical Library and the Waldweg Library.
Advice by email and telephone
We are of course also available during our opening hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 by phone at +49 551 39-25231 (Tel.) and answer email to the information (email). If necessary, we will also be happy to put you in touch with contact persons at the Göttingen State and University Library. We also answer questions that go beyond library issues. Our information service is free of charge and available to all interested parties.

Make an appointment with us:
Please send an email with the subject ‘Virtual Counselling’ and your subject and preferred appointment time (Mon - Fri 9:00 - 18:00) to the information (email).
You will receive an invitation to the counselling session with the access data as soon as possible.
The use of the camera is of course voluntary! You will find data protection information on the subject of videoconferencing on the University of Göttingen website.
