Audio and Video Equipment Rental
Students, teaching staff and employees of the University of Göttingen can borrow professional equipment for audio and video productions - ideal for teaching, projects and the development of media skills.
Borrowing Equipment – How It Works
You can find an overview of the material currently available in the Stud.IP event ‘SUB Audio and Video Services’.
If you would like to borrow equipment, please send us an email in advance with your request or your specific loan requirements. Alternatively, you can reach us by telephone during opening hours.
Loans and book returns can only be made by appointment.
- Loan period: 1 week (Extension by arrangement only)
- Use: for non-commercial purposes only
- Liability: The borrower is liable for damage or loss.
Equipment Loan Requests
Opening Hours
From 20 July 2026 to 2 October 2026 the following opening hours apply:
- Tuesday 9:00–10:30
- Wednesday 15:00–17:00
- Thursday 9:30–11:00
The rental service is closed on public holidays.
Notice
The rental service will be closed for the week of 14–20 September 2026 due to vacation. The last rental date before the closure is Thursday, 10 September 2026. The first rental date after the closure is Tuesday, 22 September 2026.
Rental requests that extend into the closure period can be extended accordingly by prior arrangement.
