Library card

You need a library card to order items from our stacks, to check them out at our self-checkout terminals and to reserve items currently on loan. Your library account lets you view and renew your loans and manage your reservations. With your library card, you are also entitled to place inter-library loan requests and administer your copy and print account. Private and guest users of the Göttingen State and University Library may also login with their library card’s username and password at our library PCs and use WLAN at all our locations.

Please apply for the library card via the form on this website. You will receive the library card one working day later at the selected service desk.
