Changed opening hours

For students and scientists of the University of Göttingen, the Central Library will provide individual workstations from Tuesday, 30 March 2021:

Mon - Sun 10:00 - 20:30.

Approximately 160 individual workstations are available on the ground floor and on the first and second floors, including 10 PC workstations. Printing, copying and scanning facilities are also available for individual use on all floors.

As of 19 April 2021 the LRC will provide approximately 20 individual workstations during these service hours: Mon, Wed and Fri from 10:00 to 16:00, Tue and Thu from 10:00 to 18:30, Sat and Sun from 13:00 to 16:00.

Please note that the short and long term work booths will still not be available for use. Group work will also continue to be unavailable. The coat check and locker areas will remain inaccessible.

Due to the Lower Saxony Corona Regulation of 25 January 2021 our users are required to wear a medical mouth-nose cover – even after taking the workplace.
