CARPET II

CARPET brings interested parties and developers together within a single portal by offering a structured online directory for locating software and services; input interfaces for software, services, projects, and virtual research environments; a cross-software user support forum tailored to your community; and a collaborative knowledge base for developing shared documentation.
CARPET serves as the official German user forum for all Public Knowledge Project applications (OJS, OCS, OMP, Harvester), the LOCKSS long-term archiving solution, and the Goobi digitization framework. CARPET has already established itself as a virtual competence center for electronic publishing software and services by making the results of research and development projects available, supporting their ongoing development in a sustainable manner, and helping to avoid redundant development efforts. The goal of this second project phase is to further enhance the platform's technical interaction capabilities, expand the community, and implement a sustainable strategy for the project's long-term continuation.
