DIGITEXTMATH

The project aims to produce electronic full-text versions of mathematical monographs; these will subsequently be made available for retrieval on the GDZ document server and rendered searchable via the CGM protocol. The work is based on monographs already digitized by the GDZ, which are currently available on the document server solely as images.
The actual full-text capture is carried out by external service providers, who transcribe the texts and tag them according to TEI/XML-based specifications. In addition to the full text itself, the files will incorporate logical structure information, enabling the linking of specific full-text sections with the associated metadata and existing images.
