GEO-LEO II

As part of the continuation of GEO-LEO I, existing functions are being optimized and new ones created or integrated via external services. Furthermore, work is underway to incorporate additional high-quality and relevant specialized collections (e.g., astronomy, astrophysics, space research), selected government agency libraries (e.g., the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources/BGR), and other valuable domestic and international sources.
The document server currently being developed for the virtual specialist library will provide a key service: a university-based, subject-specific publication platform for full-text documents. GEO-LEO users will be able to upload their documents, classify them by subject, and add metadata, as well as download existing documents from the GEO-LEO system to their own computers.
