IP-OA
Internetplattform Open Access
The "Open Access Information Platform" (IP-OA) consolidates concepts, legal, organizational, and technical frameworks, practical implementation experiences, initiatives, services and service providers, and position papers in a single, central location.
The platform targets stakeholders in the academic and research community—particularly researchers themselves, but also the leadership of universities and research institutions, infrastructure service providers (such as libraries and computing centers), and, not least, funding organizations and policymakers.
The goal of the IP-OA is to provide a structured compilation of existing—though often widely dispersed—information on Open Access, while also processing this information to ensure easy access. This objective is supported by the platform's collaborative development and the ongoing involvement and participation of the stakeholders themselves.
The IP-OA creates a central point of contact for all relevant information regarding Open Access.
