IP-OA II
Networking in science policy and internationalization of the information platform open-access.net
The "Open Access Information Platform" (IP-OA) is a central information resource on Open Access in Germany that was successfully established as part of the IPOA project. Its target audience comprises stakeholders in the academic and research community—most notably researchers themselves, but also the leadership of universities and research institutions, infrastructure service providers (such as libraries and computing centers), and, not least, funding organizations and policymakers. The platform is supported by numerous organizations and institutions.
This follow-up project aims to expand the platform's content, internationalize its scope, and grow by securing additional supporters. In parallel, an infrastructure network of Open Access officers is to be established to help raise awareness of Open Access within the academic and research community.
