Framework conditions for a cross-disciplinary research data infrastructure
The project aims to develop a roadmap containing recommendations for a cross-disciplinary research data infrastructure in Germany. It identifies and addresses the requirements for generic infrastructure components and their integration with discipline-specific components. The analysis is based on a stocktaking of existing and new projects as well as community-building initiatives. Key dimensions of the analysis include technology, organization, and costs, alongside an examination of cross-cutting themes. The findings will be discussed with the relevant disciplines throughout and at the conclusion of the project, and the resulting materials will be published. The project consortium is as interdisciplinary and cross-institutional as the analysis itself.
