ViFa b2i

The project aims to create a specialized portal for the professional community that pools and links existing subject-specific resources from the project partners and supplements them with new services.
The plan involves integrating all modules under a single search engine.
This requires the development of the necessary library and documentation foundations as well as the technical infrastructure.
This approach gives rise to the following three project areas:
1. Pooling and linking existing subject-specific resources for ViFa BBI
2. Developing additional subject-relevant services for integration into ViFa BBI to complement existing resources:

• Subject gateway for library, book, and information sciences
• Substantive, organizational, and editorial expansion of the KNB information server on librarianship
• Secondary library websites; specialized bibliographic database on book studies

3. Establishing a scientific advisory board for ViFa BBI.
